Students from École Our Lady of the Rosary School in Miss Eleniak’s Grade one class created blessing bags as their social justice project during this Advent season of giving. Students filled bags with items such as socks, hygiene products, word searches, a deck of cards, snacks and a handwritten Christmas card from each student. Each blessing bag will be placed in the hands of those in need this holiday season. At Christmas, the students experience the joy of our Lord Jesus. The spirit of giving to those in need is a meaningful part of our student's learning at École Our Lady of the Rosary School. “For it is in giving that we receive” St. Francis of Assissi.
