Pamela Taylor, Educational Consultant with the RDCRS First Nations Métis, and Inuit Support Team joined each Grade One class today for a smudging ceremony. The smudging lessons our First Nations Métis, and Inuit Support Team teach reinforce the common belief that God is the Lord of all Creation, and using things of the earth is a way of honouring Him and creating an atmosphere of entering deeply into prayer and worship.
