What has Mme Masikewich's Class Been Learning About?
This month, we explored how geography, language, culture, and economics—among other things—help to make each community unique. Using the Chromebooks, we examined the importance of history in shaping each community’s values, beliefs, and situations. Through this activity, students were able to appreciate Canada’s vast and diverse landscape. Images attached show students using the iPads to explore different landscapes and communities.
In Science, students explored materials that are attracted by a magnet from those that are not. In the photos, students are doing an experiment that involved trying to attract objects that are magnetic through other materials that might or might not allow the magnetic force to pass.
