Our Kindergarten students made the annual field trip to Hidden Valley Farm last week. Every year our Kindergarten students go to Hidden Valley and Famer Jim helps them plant vegetables and takes them on a tractor ride around the farm. Farmer Jim takes care of the vegetables over the summer and then in the Fall, those Kindergarten students go back to Hidden Valley as Grade One students to harvest the vegetables. Parent volunteers then use those vegetables to make stone soup for the grade one students.
All four of our Kindergarten classes enjoyed their time at Hidden Valley once again this year - thank you so much Farmer Jim!
