News About Criminal Record Checks

The Sylvan Lake RCPM detachment shared great news with us this week. You are now able to complete everything online to obtain your Criminal Record check or Vulnerable Record check. Please see the information from the Sylvan Lake RCPM detachment below:

We are excited to announce that here in Sylvan Lake we are a part of a new pilot project that will make your life easier!

You now do not have to attend the Sylvan Lake RCMP detachment in order to obtain your required Criminal Record check or Vulnerable Record check.

You can now complete everything ONLINE and your check will be mailed out to you.

There are however a few people we recommend still coming into the detachment:

-          if you have not lived in Canada for over a year,

-          if you are under 21 years old,

-          or you have not established any credit.
