Reporting Your Child Late or Absent

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are asking that you call the office AND inform the teacher if your child is going to be late or absent from school.  We have an attendance line that can be accessed 24/7.  Please call 403-343-2568 and press 1 to leave a message to report your child late or absent.  When leaving a message please leave your name, your child's name and grade, a contact number and a reason for your child's late or absence.  Please contact your child's teacher via email or the Remind app if your child's teacher uses the app.

We are asking you to contact us twice because teachers cannot always check their phones and/or email during the day.  Ensuring the office knows your child has been excused from school helps us to ensure your child's attendance is accurate and allows you to avoid unnecessary automated phone calls informing you we are unaware of the reason for your child's absence.
Your child's safety is of the utmost importance to us.
