Mrs. Hick's Grade 4 class is learning about "Waste in our World" as part of the science curriculum. Students are learning first-hand the role of decomposers in nature and how to classify organic and inorganic materials by taking care of a 'vermicomposter' or 'worm farm.' Some students even got to take some worms home to start their own vermicomposter.
