Mardi Gras in 2D

Mardi Gras means Fat Tuesday in French.  Students enjoyed making masks,  catching necklace beads, and eating King Cake.  The round cake represents the crown of thorns and the colours of purple, green and gold represent justice, faith and power.  Inside the cake is a baby representing Jesus.  Jesus is our king and the student that got the baby was king for the day.
