Children's Liturgy 2023-24 News

GOOD NEWS FOR PARENTS & CHILDREN AGES 3 TO 7 YEARS

We are starting “Children’s Liturgy” again On Sunday, October 1st, 2023 for
three to seven year olds during the Scripture Readings and the Homily At 11:00
Mass.
We have an exciting New Program called “Promise” for Kindergarten and
Grade One children using storytelling, prayer and fun activities that relate the
children’s own experiences to the Gospel.
We also have a Program Called “Seeds” with Hands-On Activities for young
children to experience the Gospel the way they learn best through talking, doing,
listening and singing out with love and joy!
We have a “Family Corner” too, with a short topic and a prayer to share with your
family each week.
We need your help to make this Program the best it can be so take your turn to
come and join us as one of the Adult Helpers each week. You will have an
Orientation and be part of The Children’s Liturgy Team.
E-Mail Me: Catherine McNiff at catherineofs@gmail.com to register to be an Adult
Helper.
There is NO CHARGE for the program but you will need to Pre-Register your
child/children before October 1st. Phone or E-Mail Christine - Admin. Assistant in
the office at the Church - at 403-887-2398 or E-mail: ourloa.sylvan@caedm.ca

Our Lady of the Assumption Parish

As Stewards of the parish of Our Lady of the Assumption, we have a mission, inspired by the Holy Spirit, to celebrate liturgies, proclaim the good news, support pastoral direction and build up a community of love in Jesus’ name. We aim to foster the dynamic growth of the faithful through renewed life in Christ with a greater respect and love for the Eucharist. Read more about the Parish Team here.
