The Eggs Have Arrived

We are excited to announce the chicken eggs have arrived and are safely tucked away in the incubator in the library.  The mother hens are Isa hens and the fathers are Barred Rock, Rhode Island Red and Easter Egger.  It typically takes 21 days for eggs to hatch once incubation begins. Our students are visiting the library this morning to get their first look at Mrs. O'Gorman's information about chicken eggs and of course the eggs in the incubator.  We look forward to keeping you posted about the hatching process!
