Mrs. Tighe's Kindergarten class has a blast visiting Sobeys on March 22! Sobeys provided the students with an incredible experience visiting many departments! At the bakery students watched a baker decorate a cake. At the meat and seafood department students saw a live lobster and petted it and at the deli students wore a hair net and sampled some cheese. Students also got to go behind the scenes and went inside a huge fridge and freezer to see where all the dairy and frozen items are kept. Before the students left, Sobeys let them each ring a food item through the checkout, just like a real cashier! Thank you so much Sobeys for the great experience!
